Juliette Guillory Gauthier, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on December 31, 2023, in Pineville, LA. She was born on July 7, 1939, in Hessmer to Edwin and Lena Daigrepont Guillory.
Juliette's journey through life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and a genuine sense of humor that brought joy to those around her. She began her career at the old Kress Department Store in Alexandria before embarking on various other ventures. Juliette worked in the Real Estate field and retired from Kroger before ultimately finding herself back in Hessmer at the Roy Store Deli.
As a mother, Juliette provided unwavering love and support to her five children: Sandy Gauthier Gilcrease (Jim), Larry Gauthier, Edwin Paul Gauthier (Wendi), June Gauthier, and Dustin Gauthier. Her grandchildren––Tiffany, Joseph, Alexandra, Jewel, Jacob, Alisa, Dominic, Wyatt, Avery, Mia, Allison, Brayden, and Braylie––were the pride and joy of her life. Juliette also cherished her great-grandchild Caiden. Her caring nature extended beyond her immediate family to include numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Lena Daigrepont Guillory; sister, Betty Guillory Roy; son-in-law, Kelly Lewis, granddaughter, Brooke George; and nieces and nephews, Johnny Roy, Lisa Roy Mose, and Kathy Roy Smith.
The memory of Juliette will forever be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her infectious laughter filled every room she entered; she was always quick with a joke or a lighthearted remark that would bring smiles to those around her. Her uplifting presence brightened even the darkest days.
