Juliette Noelle Surprise

Juliette Noelle Brouwer Surprise passed away peacefully on September 18th, 2024 surrounded by loved ones at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn, Maine. Juliette was the daughter of Helen and Johan Brouwer and sister to Sarita, George, Johan, and Claudia. She was 67 years old and survived by her siblings, two daughters, Noelle and Olivia, and two grandsons, whom she loved with all her heart.
Juliette spent her life in mid-coast Maine and loved her Camden community, spending time on the water, laughing with her friends, cooking for loved ones, the smell of the ocean and the sound of the foghorn. She made beloved friends everywhere she went and opened her home and her heart to any and all who needed a safe space, animals included. She was the keeper of many pets, including Baby the seal, a donkey, two ducks, and many cats and dogs. Her warmth, laughter, and welcoming spirit are remembered by all who knew her.
Her family would like to thank all who helped love and care for her over the last several years, including her amazing home care nurses, the Lamp Care Center, and the Andwell Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 2pm at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, followed by a celebration of her life at the Camden Yacht Club at 4pm.
