Julius Dominguez Jr.

Julius (Jules) James Dominguez, Jr age 89 of Lilburn, GA., passed away Monday, February 23, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kittye Dominguez; his parents, Nermi and Julius Dominguez, Sr.; and sister, Shirley Besson. He is survived by his daughters, Susan, Lauren, Natalie, Pam; son in law, Allen; his grandchildren, Megan and Ryan, Erin, Brendon and Meaghan, Veronica, Rafi, Nicolas, Bridgette, Mollie, Caroline and Dave, Wesley and Stephanie; his great grandchildren, Connor, Caleb, Field, Nora, Kenny, Kameron, Paisley, Charlotte, Lucy, Henry, Leighton, Tyler, Reese and Tatum; his sister and brother in law Julie and Bill Grupp; and brother, Michael Dominguez.

He worked hard as a Mechanical Engineer and retired from Georgia Pacific in 2000. He loved doing woodworking and made many beautiful pieces for his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He enjoyed white water canoeing and rafting with his family and friends which included a trip down the Colorado River with his wife. He also enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities with a small group of friends. He was an avid reader and has a substantial collection of books. He also enjoyed trips to the grist mill at Stone Mountain with his beloved dogs, Nicki, Cody and Wojo.

There will be a memorial mass held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 801 Tom Smith Road, Lilburn, GA 30047. Live streaming for those who cannot attend is at: https://sjnlilburn.com/online-masses
