Julius M. Rhodes

Julius M. Rhodes, age 55, passed away on January 27, 2026 at Stamford Hospital, surrounded by family. He was born on July 15, 1970 in Stamford, Connecticut to the late James Collins and Gloria Rhodes. Julius was employed with First Student Bus Company, safely transporting children with care and dedication. Above all, he was a devoted husband, a faithful and loving father, and a doting grandfather who cherished his family deeply. His legacy will be treasured by his devoted wife, Sharil Dumas Rhodes, his daughter; Kevona Bradley, three sons; Benjamin Bradley, Shaquan Rhodes and Tyreik Rhodes, adored grandchildren; Mia, Jeremiah, Rylan, Alivia, Valerina, Carter, Knowledge, Shaquan (Kayden), Zuri, Makayla, Mekhi and S'yaria, two sisters; Marsha Rhodes and Tonya Collins, his brother; Brian Rhodes, mother in law; Delores Simmons, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Julius was predeceased by his granddaughter; Imani Rhodes, sister; Wanda McClain, brothers; Ronald Collins and Chucky Collins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm at Graves Medley Funeral Services, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, CT. Apostle Cathy Whitfield, officiant. Interment will be private.
