Julius Sabo

Julius Sabo, 81, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II engaging the enemy in the Aleutians Island Campaign who received a Battle Star on his Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon along with the Good Conduct Medal, a former Shop Planner Coordinator for more than 30 years for Teledyne Rodney Metals, now known as Allegheny, before retiring in 1989, passed away unexpectedly at his home in New Bedford on Tuesday, July 4, 2000. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 6, 2000, 1 p.m., at St. James Church County Street, 233 County Street, New Bedford. Visiting hours are omitted. Interment will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home, New Bedford.
