Julius "Lil Bill" Steele Jr.

1953 - 2023

Julius Steele Jr., affectionately known as "Lil Bill", was born on October 8, 1953, and transitioned from his earthly life on October 22, 2023. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and later joined Mount Carmel Missionary Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Julius Steele Sr. and Eloise Steele, his brother Ricky Steele and sister Ceola Steele. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Sylvia Steele, his 4 children Julius Mosley, Corey Steele, Nyoka Steele, and Joshua Steele, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. His two sisters Bobby Jean Murphy of Montgomery, Al, and Vernessa (Steven) Williams of Slidell, 2 brothers Micheal (Joan) Steele and Troy Steele all of New Orleans, La. His three aunts Delphine (Louis) Poree', Mary Pritchard and Marva Darby. 1 uncle August Hines. 2 great aunts Alice Spiller and Vergie Dyer. He owned and operated his construction company for more than 25 years. He loved traveling, friends, and family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. With love always the Steele Family. Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, November 4, 2023, for 10:00 a.m. at Living Word International Church, 2528 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, La. 70461.
