June Eileen Anderson of Sebring, FL, age 93, passed away on January 1, 2026 at Vivo Healthcare, Sebring, FL
June was born October 20, 1932, in Warren, Pennsylvania, to Nellie and Gerald Vorse. After growing up and attending school, she married Earl Anderson in December 1949. They raised three children and enjoyed camping and traveling. Travel locations included USA, England, France and Israel. They were lifetime members of the Pioneer Steam & Gas Engine Society and after retiring to Florida, were active members of the Florida Fly Wheelers.
June lovingly cared for her husband until his death in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Gerald (Jerry) Vorse and his wife Barbara, and June's nephew Todd Dyer.
June was an active member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Sebring, Florida, and before retiring to Florida, Centerville Baptist Church in Centerville, Pennsylvania. She always enjoyed gardening, reading and friends.
Survivors include son, Dennis (Susan) Anderson, daughter, Joanne (Tuck) Davis, son, Dan (Virginia) Anderson; six granddaughters, four grandsons; seventeen great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; two sisters - Linda (Don) Dyer and Sheryl (Frank) Wilcox of Pennsylvania, four nieces and four nephews , their children; as well as many wonderful friends.
Plans are being made for memorial services in Sebring, FL and Centerville, Pennsylvania.
