June Davidson Basye

June Davidson Basye,71, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. June was born on June 1, 1953, in Glenrothes, Scotland to the late David and Margaret Davidson.

June was a woman of deep faith, embodying the principles of love and compassion throughout her life. She found joy in the simple pleasures, from the serenity of gardening to the intricate art of knitting, which she often shared with those she loved. An ardent lover of the outdoors, she embraced the beauty of nature, cultivating not only her garden but also the hearts of those around her. Her devotion as a grandmother was unparalleled; she poured her heart into her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Natalie Basye (Trey Wiseman) of Paducah; her God-Daughter, Robyn Croom of Marion, AR; her siblings—two brothers, David Davidson and Ian Davidson (Theresa), and a sister, Jean Davidson, all of Scotland; and her three grandchildren, Lochlan, Willow, and Maisie Wiseman. 

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by loving husband, Gary Basye; and her sister, Margaret Davidson.
