June Burgess, age 88 of Nashville, passed away September 28, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a.k.a. "Granny". Preceded in death by her husband, Billy Burgess; twin sister, Joan Adcock; brother, Julian W. "Sonny" Alsup, Jr.. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Crum (Michael) and Julianne Smith (David); grandchildren, Stephanie Tollison (Charles), Ashley Allsbrooks (Jared), Samantha Hendrix (Luke), Dustin Smith (Kim), and Matthew Smith; 9 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, October 3rd at 1pm at Spring Hill Cemetery. Family will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children, https://www.shrinerschildrens.org/en or the Fire Buffs Box 55, https://box55.org
