June Nevins Cole, age 82, formerly of Second Street, Wyalusing, PA, passed away on early Wednesday morning, February 26, 2025, at the Highlands Care Center in Laporte after a brief illness.
June was born February 11, 1943, in Trenton, NJ, a daughter of the late Edward George and Rebecca Thorpe Nevins. June grew up in Morrisville, PA, where her father Ed was superintendent of the composing room for the Trenton Times and where her mother faithfully tended her beloved gardens. She graduated from Morrisville High School and furthered her education at Kutztown University where she obtained a degree in special education.
In 1967 June married the late James H. Cole and they had two sons, James and Glenn.
Before moving to Laporte, June had been a Wyalusing resident for many years and enjoyed music, warm summer days and sitting on the porch watching the world go by. She will be remembered by her smile, warmth and caring nature.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law Patricia Nevins.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and inurnment will be made in the Wrightstown Friends Meeting Cemetery, Newtown, PA, beside her mother.
