June Conito Obituary

June A. Conito passed away peacefully on October 26th, 2022 at the age of 96. June was a lifelong resident of Duluth. She married the love of her life, Ernest "Ernie" Conito and together they raised a daughter and four sons in a house full of love, music, and of course, sports. The most important thing to June was her family and friends and they adored her. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend, but, most of all, she was a good woman, beloved by all who knew her. June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernie; her parents, Clifford & Florence Giroux; her brother, Clifford Jr.; and her daughter-in-law, Yvonne. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Conito; and sons, Ernest Jr., Paul (Jayme) Conito, John (Tina) Conito and Jeff Conito; grandchildren Darrin, Paul, Joey, Ryan, Natalie, Kevin and Shayna; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law, Kate. Special thanks go out to the wonderful caregivers at North Shore Estates and to the Moments Hospice Nurses who helped care for June in her last days. June's wishes were for a private family service.

Cheryl, Just found out about your mom's passing. So sorry to hear about that. What a beautiful lady and a beautiful person. I remember a gathering at your house for dinner in 1975. Great memories!!
