June Beth Crowe, 77, of Heltonville, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital at 1:54am. Born April 19, 1947, in Shelbyville, IN, she was the daughter of Roy A. Devault and Frances (DeBaun) Devault.
June was a domestic engineer and was a member of the Eastern Star and Riley White Shrine. She graduated from Waldron High School, and married Harold John Crowe III on August 5, 1972, and he survives.
Surviving to cherish the memory of June is her husband, John Harold Crowe III; two daughters, Jennifer Crowe, and Holli (Mike) Beaty; one brother, Robert DeVault; siblings, Joyce Arlene Turner, Donald Ray Deal, and Shirley "Gene" Deal; and one grandson, James C. Tingen III.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Heidi (Crowe) Batts; and siblings, Matilda Andrews, Virginia Marcum, and Rosemary Benton.
A mass of Christian Burial for June will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:00am, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford with Fr. Jegan Peter and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill cemetery in Bedford. Visitation for June will be from 9:30am to the time of service, also at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford.
Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the care and arrangements for June.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of June to the Diabetes Foundation.
