June DeVito Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by O'Connor Mortuary - Laguna Hills Chapel & Mortuary on Nov. 17, 2023.
June DeVito, 58, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023, at her home in San Clemente, California, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 26, 1965, to Demont and Wildeane Excell in Cedar City, Utah.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, June leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength.
June led a life filled with hosting gatherings for her loved ones. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends. June was an amazing mother and grandmother. Anyone who knew her could feel her warm and welcoming heart. She built a home that was full of love and laughter. June always hosted the best parties and touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She had a passion for traveling. June was also known for her famous snickerdoodle cookies and banana bread. She was an inspiration to those around her. June had a gift for making others feel truly special and was filled with compassion for others. June was blessed with a green thumb and knew the trick to grow the best lemons.
June is predeceased by her son Corey parents Demont and Wildeane Excell, and brothers Danny Excell and Ronnie Excell. She is survived by husband John DeVito, daughters Tiffany DeVito, Stefanie Campbell (Seth Campbell), Kimberly Lyon, and son Colby Lyon, Grandchildren and brother Rick Excell who will forever cherish the beautiful memories they created together. We are in the process of preparing our mother's celebration of life in December.
June will be desperately missed by all those that she left behind. Our hearts are so broken by this loss. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.

She was.
A really loving person and she would take care of others when they were by themselves and needed someone to talk to you. She was always there for your hard time saying good times just know she loves us.
