June was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Woodrow Wilson High School. After briefly attending the University of Texas at Austin, she met Dr. Truett Goss and they married on February 9, 1940. Over many years, June contributed her considerable talents to the Bexar County Dental Auxiliary, Texas Dental Society and the Alamo Heights United Methodist Church. Additionally, she was actively involved in supporting her children's activities and volunteered countless hours to their schools. June touched the lives of those she met with her warmth and ability to make others feel at ease. She loved the beauty of nature and listening to her treasured collection of music.
