June Hala Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob and her daughter Denise Carson (Keith). Though she missed them dearly, she carried their memory in her heart.
June was the devoted mother of two daughters, whom she fiercely protected. Her dedication to giving them a better life than she had known herself was one of her greatest achievements.
She is survived by her daughter Dolores Gentile (John) and three granddaughters Desiree Juby (Tim), Briana Overholt (Dean), and Stephanie Kaslatas (Kevin), and a loving great-grandmother to DJ, Ford, Cara and Catie-each of whom brought immense joy to her later years.
A woman of many passions, June's heart was full when surrounded by her family, her beloved dogs, and the simple joys of life. She was known for her legendary home-cooked meals-especially her unforgettable dumplings-and her kitchen was always filled with warmth and laughter. Her love for crafts, music, and nature brought light to every space she touched, and her garden bloomed just as vibrantly as she did.
June's love extended beyond her family. She was a lifelong supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and her compassion for animals led her to support the ASPCA. She believed in caring for those who could not always care for themselves, and her quiet generosity left a lasting impact.
She also had a traveler's soul-curious and eager to explore new places. Whether near or far, June cherished the beauty of the world and found wonder wherever she went.
Her life, though shaped by humble beginnings, was rich in meaning, purpose, and love. June will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the lives she touched, the traditions she started, and the strength she passed on to future generations.
A private service will be held to honor June's life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the ASPCA-two causes close to her heart.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
