June Katherine Harmon

I first got to know June when I joined Pride City Quilt Guild. we would have some fun times talking about quilting and her volunteer work at Parkview Hospital. I know she was not a happy camper when she had to give up her quilting and hand work. She would tell some of us at guild about her trips to Las Vegas to see her daughter and what fun she had. We would tease her and say she went there to got to the strip to play the slots for quilting money. June would just look at us and laugh and say she were never spend her money without a guarantee of a win.
June was a sweet person and I'm glad I got to know her even for a short time.
