MILLBURY - June Marie (Plante) House, of Millbury, MA, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025. Born in Worcester, MA, on September 2, 1951, June lived a life of service, compassion, and deep connection to both people and nature.

A graduate of North High School in Worcester, Class of 1971, June pursued a lifelong passion for health and healing. She earned her RN from Quinsigamond Community College in 1974 and went on to explore holistic health practices, receiving numerous certifications including Holistic Studies from Interface Graduate Program (Newton, MA), Life Force Professional and Applied Nutritional Microscopy (AR & Boulder, CO), Basic Herbal Apprenticeship (Sutton, MA), and Holistic Health Counselor certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City.

With a deep belief in the body’s ability to heal through balance and natural practices, June founded Healthy Living Now, where she guided others toward improved wellness through nutrition and lifestyle changes for eight fulfilling years.

June also shared her gifts with her spiritual community, serving as Youth Education Director at Unity of Central MA in Worcester. Her leadership extended to the Board of Trustees, where she served as Vice President and later as President during a dedicated six-year tenure.

She was a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and proud member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Her love for the natural world was reflected in her memberships with the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill and the Audubon Society.

June was a vibrant spirit who found joy in traveling, hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, swimming, painting, drawing, and gardening. Her love of nature and the arts were present in all she did, and her kindness and wisdom touched many lives.

June is survived by her loving sisters: Diane Miller and husband Robert of Sutton, MA; Arlene Carlson and husband David of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Karen Plante of Sutton, MA; and Pamela Gunsalus and husband Mark of Dudley, MA. She also leaves behind cherished nieces and nephews: Tina & Jeff Landry, Tiphanie & Pierre Gelinas, Joshua & Gina Deck-Carlson, Christopher & Alyssa Carlson, Heather & Larry Ciampi, Gregory Gunsalus, Elizabeth Gunsalus, and Christina Gunsalus, as well as six beloved great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, June T. Plante and Oliver A. Plante, both of Worcester, MA.

June's legacy is one of love, learning, and light. Her family and friends will miss her gentle spirit, open heart, and deep wisdom.

In honor of June’s life and her commitment to spiritual growth and community, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unity of Central MA

A celebration of Life will be held in early June 2026. Time and place to be announced.
