WORCESTER – Mallory Marie Shocik, 39, of Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Marie Coyle and Michael Shocik, and was raised in Brimfield, MA. She attended Brimfield Elementary and Tantasqua Jr. and Sr. High School.
Mallory graduated from Franklin Pierce University with a bachelor’s degree in education and dedicated 17 years to teaching children as a preschool teacher, most recently at the Cottage Children’s Center in Marlborough, MA.
Mallory is survived by her most beloved sons, Bishop and Booker Pruitt, her loving parents, Marie Branconnier Coyle (Terrence Coyle), and Michael Shocik (Albert Labell), and her siblings, Scott Shocik of Worcester, and Abby Shocik of Clinton, MA. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many cherished friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit with Mallory’s family from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, December 6th at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 345 Main St. Sturbridge. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Kelly Cremation & Funeral Care, 154 Lincoln St., Worcester.
