June C. Ide, 90, of Toledo, OH, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Lakes of Monclova. June was born in Toledo, OH. June 13, 1935, to parents Francis and Marguerite (Grant) Falkenberg. An excellent athlete, June, was a member of the Libby High School Tennis team and played on the Jr. Wightman Cup team. She was an avid bowler, and enjoyed playing golf and carrying her bag well into her 80's. She was a long active member of the St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Sylvania where she served as the church organist for more than 30 years. Special thanks to sisters Lynda and Beverly for their wonderful care of June and to special friend Wally Simon for years of friendship and care.
June is survived by her son Charles (Christy) Ide; daughter Jennifer (Joe) Siragusa; daughter Stephanie (John) Frazier; grandchildren Gabby, Cati, Caroline, Charlotte, Andrew, Nathanial, and Alexandria; sisters Beverly Rowell and Lynda (Jim) Valiquette; brothers Richard (Gitta) Falkenberg and Donald (Shelly) Falkenberg; sister-in-law Sandy Falkenberg; She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Charles E. Ide in 1992; brother Clifford Falkenberg; and brother-in-law Bill Rowell.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 12:00pm until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 2:00pm, Pastor Beth Ferne Johnson officiating.
Those wishing to offer memorials are asked to consider the St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 7800 Erie St. Sylvania, OH. 43560 or the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
June will be entombed with Chuck at Toledo Memorial Park at the conclusion of the service.
