June Willetta Kirkconnell, a cherished and vibrant soul, passed away on October 5, 2025, in Temecula, California, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selfless dedication. Born on January 31, 1945, in Muskegon, Michigan, June's journey through life was marked by an unwavering commitment to her family, friends, and community.

June's professional life was defined by her 25 years of service as the food coordinator for the Temecula School District. Her passion for nourishment extended beyond the cafeteria, as she also served her community as the Avon representative in Temecula throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Her work was not just a job; it was a means to connect with and support those around her.

The matriarch of a loving family, June was a beacon of strength and support. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Ronald, Katherine, Denise, and Michael, and took immense joy in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. June's siblings, Jeannie, Larry, Butch, and Cindy, will remember her as the glue that held the family fabric together with her candid and opinionated charm.

June's interests were as colorful and diverse as her personality. She was an avid Bingo player, a bowler with a competitive yet gracious spirit, and a bargain hunter extraordinaire at garage sales. Her love for the thrill of chance was evident in her enjoyment of visiting casinos. June found solace in the simplicity of gardening, watering the yard daily, and she relished in the routine of grocery shopping, always ready to find the best deals for her family.

Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was often described as being generous to a fault. June was the best sport, always cheering on others with unwavering support and encouragement. Her selflessness was her hallmark, touching the lives of everyone she met. Candid and without filter, June's honesty was a refreshing and beloved trait that those close to her came to admire and expect.

June's life was a testament to the power of living authentically and caring deeply. Her opinionated nature was balanced by her immense capacity for love and her readiness to help others at every turn. She will be remembered as a woman who lived her life with a generous heart and open arms, a true embodiment of what it means to be selfless.

As we bid farewell to June Willetta Kirkconnell, we celebrate the indelible imprint she has left on our hearts. Her laughter, wisdom, and nurturing spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her legacy will resonate for generations to come, a beautiful reminder of a life well-lived and a woman deeply loved.

In John 14:2, Jesus says, "In my Father's house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you." We believe that June has found her place - a home of everlasting joy, where laughter never ends and where she continues to watch over her family with pride and love.

June has lived with strength, courage and faith to the very end.
