June Marie Leddy, age 66, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away at home on September 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief battle with cancer.
June was born in Saginaw, Michigan on June 10, 1958, to Wilbert and Roberta (Sleeseman) Tessin. She was a graduate of Hemlock High School. She was united in marriage with Lawrence Leddy on August 29, 1981, and he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hemlock and Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Saginaw. June carried the values of hard work and dedication throughout her life and in her career as a certified nursing assistant. She worked for St. Francis Home for many years and in home health care. She had a passion for connecting with her family and friends, often sharing joyful moments playing cards or embarking on trips to the casino. June also cherished traveling and camping adventures with her husband, Lawrence.
June's is survived by her son Michael Leddy; grandchildren Michaela and Joshua Leddy; sister Carol White; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and dear friends Sandy Kenel, Tracy Taylor, Holly Klein, and Bill Brieske.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Roberta (Sleeseman) Tessin; husband Lawrence Leddy; and siblings Otto Tessin and Nancy David.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609, where friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service. Pastor William H.
