June LaVonne Mikesh, formerly of the Bridgeport Neighborhood of Chicago, currently in Hammond, IN, passed away December 24, 2025.
She is the mother of Roxanne (Manfredo, Jr. "Manny") Madrigal; grandmother of Lisa (Adam), Manfredo III "Manny", Pamela (Michael), Robert (Maddison), and David (Alina); fond great-grandmother of Michaela, Levi, Noelle, Michael, Eleanor, and Mason; loving sister of Sharon (Larry) Sinkevicz, Don (Anne) Mikesh, retired CFD, late Ron (late Anita), late Edward Jr., late Allan, and late Lonnie; beloved daughter of the late Edward Sr. and late Leone (nee Warner); loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
June loved her family (daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, brothers, nieces and nephews) and game shows!
Family and friends will gather for visitation Friday, January 2, 2026 from 3-8:00 pm and Saturday, January 3rd from 8-9:30 am at Walter Pomierski & Son Funeral Home, 1059 West 32nd Street, Chicago, IL 60608. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am at St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church, 1039 West 32nd Street, Chicago, IL. Interment at Fairview Memorial Park, Northlake, Illinois (773)927-6424
