June Jeanette Causey Sheets

June Jeanette Causey Sheets, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 82 in Gonzales, LA. In high school she enjoyed playing basketball and was a member of the pep squad. In her free time she enjoyed playing tennis and had a passion for the game. June brightened the lives of many with her compassionate soul. She was a woman of faith and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. June is survived by her loving husband, Harold Sheets, her children and their spouses Terrell and Barbara (Crochet) Sheets, Juana and Jeff Lambert, Amy Braud, Ned and Holly (Guitrau) Sheets, and Ted Sheets. She was also blessed with eleven grandchildren who she loved tremendously, Jonathan, Alex, Tanner, Emily, Grace, Dane and Trace Sheets; Kristin, Casey and Connor Braud; and Jade Ganaway; four great-grandchildren, Dreyden, Bryler, Charlie and Molly Sheets; her siblings, Charles and Bobby Causey, and Cherry Melancon, along with numerous cousins and dear friends. June was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Norris Lambert, her brothers Larry and Marvin Causey, her mother Eve Norton Causey LeBlanc, and her father Eugene (Bill) Wilson Causey. The family would like to thank Pinnacle Hospice, and all her caregivers. A Memorial service will be held at Household of Faith-Mount Zion campus, on Saturday, April 13th, 2024. Visitation will be 9:00 – 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, with graveside service at Mount Zion cemetery.
