June Elizabeth Smith, age 78, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 29, 1947, in Decatur, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Campbell Knight.
Mrs. Smith was a devoted member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Elberton, Georgia, for many years. She was a dedicated homemaker who found great joy in caring for her family. She loved her animals, enjoyed reading and decorating, and had a special fondness for flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Barry L. Smith, of the home; her sons, Brian Smith of Acworth, Georgia, and Barry C. Smith of Yazoo City, Mississippi; her brother, Wesley Knight of Atlanta; and five beloved grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Melwood Cemetery, 5170 East Ponce de Leon Avenue, Stone Mountain, Georgia. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 PM.
