June Marie Strang

June M. Strang, 98, passed away July 3, 2016 at Libertyville Manor in Libertyville. She was born June 15, 1918 in Waukegan, was a former resident of Antioch and Mundelein, living in Libertyville for the past nine years. June was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville, She was a talented artist in various mediums but enjoyed spending time with her family more than anything else. She is survived by her four children, Richard (Susan) Strang of Naperville, Timothy (Sally) Strang of Iowa City, IA, Carol Bercos of Libertyville, David (Bonnie) Strang of Houston, TX; by her eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Glenn Strang in 2003, and by her brother Richard Probst in 2008. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rte. 176 one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville. Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church, 121 W. Maple Ave. Libertyville. Interment will be at Millburn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
