My beautiful, big brother stepped out of his life on Sunday. There are no words to express our sorrow and heart ache as we navigate his passing. He had the most witty sense of humor and his contagious laugh was that of a sonic boom. His stature could never hide his teddy bear nature or his soft heart for very long. He was a defender of the innocent and would never let anyone mess with those he loved… he truly would have laid down his life for any one of us. An encounter with his giant grin quickly melted the hearts of many. His deep appreciation for life and his zealousness for seeing the glass half full kept us all on our toes. He made every effort to enjoy even the little things. The last time we were together he went all giddy as he felt the sand under his toes while we walked along the beach under the stars. My kids filled him with the most genuine joy and you could see it nourished his spirit and gave him real hope. We grieve and mourn this giant loss. We know he rests in perfect love, right in the arms of the Father. Thank you Jesus that You died for Justin so that he could live forever in Your presence. We will miss you always. Forever in our hearts, we love you and always will.
