Mr. Justin Matthew Bailey, Jr., age 64, passed away on Monday, February 16 2026, at MUSC in Charleston, SC. Born on October 26, 1961, in Dillon, SC, he was the son of Patricia Bailey and the late Justin Matthew Bailey, Sr. Mr. Bailey worked as a general contractor until his retirement, was an avid fisherman, and will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Survivors, include his mother, Patricia Bailey, and his girlfriend, Wendy Jessup; son, Justin Wade Bailey; brother, Tony Bailey; sisters, Sharon Ann Baker (Randy), and Terri Bailey; special friends, River Tom (Lana), and Joe McIntyre, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his father, Mr. Bailey was predeceased by his wife, Shannon Bailey; son, Hunter Bailey; brother, Larry Bailey, and sister, Tess Trout.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steven R. Jacobs, II officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, prior to services, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
