Justin John Bono, 75, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Born on September 19, 1949, Justin lived a life centered around family and the simple joys he cherished most. He shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lauri. Together they raised two children: daughter, Erika Bono (David Pearson) and son, Justin Bono (Katie Bono). Justin took immense pride in his five grandchildren who brought him endless joy: Walker Pearson, Zach Pearson, Nash Pearson, Rowen Bono, and Wilder Bono. He is also remembered by his brother, Dominic Bono and sister Adeline Bono. He was preceded in death by his parents, Justin and Adeline Bono as well as his brother, Victor Bono.
Justin had a deep appreciation for cars and good food. Above all else, he was a kind-hearted man whose life revolved around the love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held on April 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church located at 507 S. Tryon Street in Charlotte. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider a donation to Levine Children's Hospital.
