Justin Ferrio Gartrell

Funeral Services for Mr. Justin Ferrio Gartrell will be held 1:00pm Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Reedy Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. K. Tron Padgett, Pastor and the Rev. Dr. Jasper Lloyd, Eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be 11:00am- 6:00pm Friday at Amos & Sons Funeral Home, Johnston, SC.
Justin Gartrell, 31, was born on June 16, 1991, in Edgefield, South Carolina, to Robert Gartrell, Sr., and Nora Jean Brown Moton.
At an early age, Justin joined Reedy Branch Baptist Church.
Justin was a special child. He may have had some health issues but the light of his life showed you how he was a fun and joyous man-child.
He was educated at Douglas and graduated in 2012 at Strom Thurmond High. He had his own personality. He loved to eat, make noise and play with anything that made noise.
One of his favorite things to do was ride. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going out and going to church. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lizzie Mae Brown, a grandfather, Robert Mickens, aunt, Mildred Brown, uncle, Jimmie Brown, uncle, Rufus Brown, uncle, Willie James Allen, Jr and a co-parent, Yolanda Gartrell.
Those left to love and cherish his memories, his parents, Nora Brown Moton, Johnston, SC and Robert Lee Gartrell, Aiken, SC; brothers, Anthony G. Corley, Johnston, SC and Robert L. Gartrell.
