Justin Keith Kolba, age 49, of Upper St. Clair went to be with the angels on Friday, June 9, 2023. He was born October 24, 1973, the son of Joseph S. (Donna) Kolba and Denise Matthews.
He was the loving husband of Bonnie A. (Faddis) Kolba, whom he wed on November 10, 2012. While they recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, they shared nearly sixteen years of love and commitment.
He was also a devoted brother to Adam Penn and Marquita Penn.
He was employed by Verizon for more than twenty years as a Fiber Customer Support Analyst.
He enjoyed good music, good food, and good company – especially if it involved ice cream. Friends and family, alike, will miss his genuine smile, cheerful belly laugh, and his generous hugs. In fact, there was a time he gave "FREE HUGS" stickers to anyone he met and, of course, he followed through.
In addition to his wife, parents, and siblings, he is also survived by father-in-law, Robert J. Faddis; sisters-in-law, Susan (Greg) Yocum and Amy (Michael) Romesburg; and his nieces and nephews, whom he adored: Eryn, Jacob and Isaac Yocum; Quinn and Harper Romesburg; and Joshua Rivera. Justin is also survived by many loving cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Paula Faddis, and brother-in-law, Scott Faddis.
Justin was a friend to everyone he met; his kindness knew no bounds. As such, the family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Justin's name. Justin was known to have ended conversations by saying "Spread my love." We will honor and remember him best if we always strive to do just that.
Arrangements are by BEINHAUER. Friends and family will be welcomed at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 15317 (724-941-3211) on Saturday, June 17 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and on Sunday, June 18 from 12-1 p.m. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Beinhauer Chapel of Peace. Immediately following the service, the family will host a reception in the Beinhauer Community Room.
