Justin James McDuff, a cherished father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 39 in Waco. Born on October 22, 1984, in San Diego, California, Justin's infectious smile and courageous spirit were a beacon of light to all who knew him.
Justin proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, a period of his life that shaped much of his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and resilience. After his military service, he found solace and joy in the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, Justin's passions included welding, hunting, fishing, and engaging in the thrilling adventures of mudding and crawling in his jeep. Justin above all else, loved spending quality time and singing songs with his beloved son, Finlee Arlo Dutch.
He is survived by his mother, Patti Plotts of Temple, his son, Finlee, will carry forward Justin's legacy of love and courage. His sister, Tiffany Gunderson of Round Hill, VA, and his brother, Rowdy Raynes of San Marcos. Justin also leaves behind his bonus mom, Shannon McDuff of Lubbock, numerous family members, and friends who were touched by his generous heart and loving presence.
He is preceded in death by his father, Danny McDuff and his stepfather, Jimmy Plotts.
A memorial visitation service for Justin will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Belton Nazarene Church in BeltonWe honor the memory of Justin James McDuff, a man who lived with passion, served with honor, and loved with all his heart. His story is one of bravery, both in the life he lived and the challenges he faced. He will be remembered always for his loving nature, his friendly demeanor, and the courageous path he walked. Rest in peace, Justin. Your spirit marches on in the hearts of those you've left behind.
