A devoted servant of God, he served as the pastor of I am Holy Temple Church for an inspiring 28 years, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of his congregation and community.
Known affectionately as Prophet Willie L. McDuff, he was a leader, advisor, and a humble man who exemplified the teachings of faith. He was a true servant who was deeply committed to his vocation, embodying the essence of what it meant to be a man after God’s own heart. His warm spirit and dedication to others shone brightly; he was a figure of reliability, always available to lend an ear or a helping hand, whether day or night. Prophet McDuff had a unique ability to inspire those around him, speaking life into everyone he encountered, and was known for his generosity and loyalty.
Prophet McDuff's impact extended far beyond the walls of his church. He was a loving husband to Elect Lady Carolyn Ann McDuff for 35 years before her passing. He was a devoted father and a cherished grandfather, embodying the qualities of a family man. He filled the roles of brother and brother-in-law with love and guidance, becoming a father figure to his sisters-in-law and a source of strength to his nieces and nephews.
The love and friendship he shared with all who were fortunate to know him will be sorely missed. His legacy of kindness and faith will continue to inspire those who loved him.
A viewing will be held on November 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the viewing, a Wale Service will take place from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM.
The Funeral Service will be held on November 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at New Life Fellowship Temple, located at 3603 Puget Street, Dallas, TX 75212, concluding at 12:00 PM.
Prophet Willie Lee McDuff leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will resonate for generations to come. He will forever remain in our hearts.
