Justin Spencer Neel

Justin Spencer, Neel, 22, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown as a result of an auto accident. He was born in Fairmont on September 15, 1993 a son of Shelly (Dean) Ashcraft and her husband Kevin of Fairmont and Jody Neel and his wife Kimberly of Fairmont. He graduated from East Fairmont High School in 2012. Justin worked as a plumber in training with D.K. Plumbing. Prior to that, he had also worked at J&C Enterprises. He worked at the South Fairmont McDonalds during High School. He loved to hunt and fish with his father, grandfather, brother and uncles. The first day of deer season was always a very special time for them. He also enjoyed rabbit hunting with his Beagles, Hippie and Roscoe. Justin enjoyed listening to rock music. He was an excellent dirt bike rider. He loved riding four wheelers, camping in the mountains and fishing the trout streams. Most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. Justin had a love of life and love of his family so strong no one could ever take away. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Nina Nicoletti of Fairmont; his brothers, Colby Ashcraft of Bunner Ridge; his sister, McKinley Ashcraft of Bunner Ridge, of whom he was very close to; step brother, Joshua Triantifilou of Fairmont; Also surviving are his grandparents, John and Linda Neel; grandmothers, Patty Helms and husband Randy, Linda Dean, Brenda Campbell; step grandfather, Jim Campbell; step grandmothers, Linda Canfield and Dorothy Miao; great grandmothers, Marlene Gasda and husband Bill, Opal Dean, Alberta Carpenter; special aunts and uncles, John Neel, Robert and JoHannah Dean, Brian and Kristy Dean, Steve and Connie Neel Rush; and several cousins and many good friends. Justin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert E. Dean, Sr., great grandfathers, Claude Everett VanGilder, Sr., Earl Carpenter, Roy Neel and his wife Bridget and David Dean. Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home 209 Merchant St. 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday and on Thursday 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will be at 1pm Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Timothy Carpenter and Pastor Edward Carpenter II officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
