Justin Joe Sawyer, age 38, went to be with Our Lord on June 30, 2023. He was born in Corpus Christi on December 22, 1984, to David L. Sawyer and Maria Eva Sawyer.
He was raised in Kingsville and continued his education until he began working as a certified operator in the oilfields. He enjoyed playing the bass guitar and listening to music. He Loved his daughter, family, and friends dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father, David L. Sawyer.
Justin is survived by his mother, Maria Eva Sawyer of Kingsville, his daughter, Alexandria Acacia Sawyer of Corpus Christi; his twin brother, Jason Jay Sawyer of Lewisville; his two brothers, Tres (Kathy) De La Paz of Austin and David (Kathy) Sawyer of Boston; and his sister, Erika (Severiano) Marquez of Corpus Christi and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pall Bearers will be Kobe De La Paz, Cole De La Paz, Bryce De La Paz, Zeke Del Bosque, Russell Escamilla, Ray Rivera, Russell Escamilla Jr., and Nicholas Lozano.
Public visitation will begin at 10:00 am at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on July 5, 2023. Funeral services will proceed at 11:00 am followed by a graveside service at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
