Justin Louis Stagg unexpectedly passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 43 years old in
Farmington, New Mexico. Prior to living in New Mexico, he was a resident of St. Amant, Louisiana while working in
Baton Rouge, LA.
Justin graduated from Lafayette High School in 2001. He had briefly attended University of Louisiana at Lafayette when life events led him to North Carolina. He then graduated with an associate degree in Business Administration from Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, NC. Justin then returned to Lafayette and shortly after went to work in the Baton Rouge area. While in Baton Rouge his ultimate passion was working at Richard Honda in professional sales. Justin had a passion for life and living every day to the fullest. He always had many friends and looked forward to each new day.
He moved to Farmington on November 7, 2025, and was settling in and working two jobs, joined a gym, and made new friends. His interests and hobbies were golfing and bowling with friends. He would join friends to watch televised WEF fights. He enjoyed watching NFL football with his step-father and liked working with him in the yard. His favorite thing to do when he moved to Farmington was cooking meals and sharing with his mom and step-dad. He enjoyed cooking so much he would hum while he cooked.
Justin is survived by Thomas L. Stagg, father, Karen Leger Karabin, mother, Dr. Jerry Karabin, step-father, and Spencer Daniel Stagg, brother. Also surviving are his paternal uncles, Michael Stagg, Billy Stagg (Lori), John Stagg (Jackie) and paternal aunt Cathy Stagg Steele.
