Justin Keith Tyree (J K) of Beckley, WV, born February 22, 1982, died May 24, 2024.

Justin was the son of Mike and Kim Tyree. He is survived by his daughter Lilli, a brother DerrickTyree, two nephews Ethan Tyree and Liam Handy, two aunts Michelle Lester and Karen Yoak, two uncles Bruce Tyree and Shane McPherson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Ronnie and Faye Tyree and his maternal grandparents Bob and Ann McPherson.

Justin was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School where he participated in baseball, wrestling and football. He was a graduate of West Virginia Tech and was President of Phi Beta Tau Fraternity.

Justin was a volunteer fire fighter with Bradley Prosperity and Mt Hope before an accident prevented him from performing those duties. He was also an avid skier and participated on the ski team at Winter Place in his youth.

Justin was blessed with a big heart, a winning smile and a mischievous twinkle in his eye that he loved to share with family, friends and the random stranger. The highlight of his day was if he could make someone else smile or make their day a little better.

Words cannot describe how he will be missed. The reunion in Glory is awaiting us.

Services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Philip Farrington and Pastor Tommy Dove officiating.  Friend may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
