Justine Denise Fontenot, born on Monday, June 13, 1994, in Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 in Lafayette. She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend.
Justine is survived by her father, Joshua Layne Fontenot; mother, Andrea Denise Baudoin Gibson; sisters, Chloe Gibson, Victoria Gibson, and Emily Fontenot; and grandmother, Dianna Tate Fontenot . She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roland and Beulah Baudoin and Jerry "Blackie" Fontenot, Sr.
Justine was known for her warm personality, encompassing her love for animals and her enjoyment in meeting and visiting with people. She created a positive impact on everyone she encountered through her kindness and genuine spirit.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Following the service, Justine will be laid to rest at Reed Cemetery, located in Mamou.
Pallbearers for the service will be Jacob Williams, Cade Fontenot, Chad Deshotel, Luther Slegona, Jody Baudoin and Mitchell Navarre.
Justine Denise Fontenot will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
