JW Samples Obituary
JW Samples, 71, of Cleveland, GA formerly of Cumming, GA passed away March 11, 2024, with his loving family by his side. JW was born in Cumming, GA to the late Alvin Junior Samples and Grace Bolton Samples. Mr. Samples was a racing enthusiast and enjoyed watching all the NASCAR races. You would find him cheering and supporting his favorite driver, Chase Elliott. Mr. Samples was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish. JW was a master carpenter and was in the construction industry since the age of 14.
Mr. Samples was preceded in death by his son, Scotty Samples; and a sister, Helen Garrett. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; a daughter, 6 granddaughters; a great grandson; a sister; 3 brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2024, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with his brother, Rev. Emory Samples officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 12:00 pm until service time at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040.
