Margie B. Samples, 80, of Monterey, passed away Saturday, May 19,1990 at the home of her son, Randolph Samples.
She was born February 3, 1910 at Monterey, a daughter of Boyd and Lucy (Wagner) Beverage. He husband, Lloyd Samples, died January 26, 1945.
She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Women. She was retired from Genesco-The Grief Companies after a number of years of employment.
In addition to her son, survivors include a daughter, Lucy S. Siron of Monterey; sister, Thelma Clem of Staunton; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Obaugh Funeral Home by Dr. Robert Gue and the Rev. Steve McMillion.
Burial will be in the Samples Cemetery on Strait Creek.
Pallbeaers will be Walter, Cyril, Lawrence, John and Orion Beverage and Ray Siron.
