Kathleen Elaine Jeoffroy, 85 of Belle, was born April 9, 1940 on a farm near Summerfield, Missouri, to the late A.C. and Oma (Mittelhauser) Fleischmann. She was called into the arms of the Lord on July 3, 2025 at St. Mary’s hospital in Jefferson City.

On October 18, 1958 she was united in marriage to Clyde F. Jeoffroy. Of this union four children were born; Diana, Paul, Gary, and Sharon Kaye. All of which reside on or near the family farm.

Elaine was a cashier at Lort’s Supermarket for nearly 35 years, then worked at Belle Business Forms until she retired. Elaine was an avid gardener all her life, caring for a large vegetable garden in the summers and several flower beds throughout the year. A fantastic cook, Elaine loved preparing meals for her family and friends. She made many pies for church picnics over the years. Elaine enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and card making. For the last five and half years she has enjoyed spending her time at the flower shop.

Elaine is survived by her four children; Diana Thompson with husband Ira, Paul with wife Rhonda (Shanks), Gary and Sharon Kaye; four grandchildren Robert Thompson with wife Brienna, Gretchin Burton with husband Rob, Rebecca Gingerich with husband Terry, and Christa Thompson; and ten great grandchildren; Rhett, Jocelyn, Callan, Teaghan, Robert, Greyson, Quinn, Harlie, Bella and Jaxon; one brother, Robert Fleischmann; and several beloved extended family and friends.

Visitation for Elaine will be on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Sacred Heat Catholic Church in Rich Fountain beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
