Ka'Veion L. Talbert

Ka'Veion LaShawn Talbert, 19, passed away on December 27, 2024. Services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11 am and funeral service to follow at 1 pm at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dione Stewart, his father, RayShawn Talbert, his brothers, DeKorieon Talbert, RayMarieon Talbert, his sisters, Ke'Asia Williams, Ja'Naysha Stewart, Zai'Keia Stewart, his aunt, Ebonee Stewart, uncles, RayShawn Lee, Latroy Talbert, Keith Talbert, DeMarkis Talbert, and Jacobie Talbert. Also left behind are his brothers from another mother, DeCoreion Less, Montese Moore, Christopher Moore, favorite cousin Keyontez Stewart, right handman, Antwon Smithers, and a host of other cousins, family members, and friends. Chunky is preceded in death by his Grandmother Hattie Stewart, Grandmother Barbara Talbert, uncles, Robert Stewart and DayShawn Talbert, his sister, Aaliyah Talbert, and cousin Corey Dillard.
Ka'Veion attended and graduated from the Academy at Shawnee in May 2024. While attending the Academy at Shawnee, he followed his Uncle Robert Stewarts footsteps by attending the Youth Build Program to achieve his carpentry certification.
"Chunky" loved to make you laugh. He would talk all day in the bathroom, loved to dance, watch WWE, TikTok, cooking, eating, and biting the covers. He loved visits to the 41st store, listening to music while he sleeps, and most importantly his dog, Dusse'.
