Kaira LaQuesha Daniels

Kaira LaQuesha Daniels lovingly known as "Birdie" passed away on January 3rd, 2024. She was born October 15th, 1977, in Portland, to the parents Clemmie and Eugene Daniels at Kaiser Permanente. She was the Baby girl to her older brothers Walter and Charles "Rebo". Kaira attended Vernon Elementary school and Marshall High School, from there she met Vorshaunn Avitt "paco" and had her first born Vorshaunn "booter" Avitt Jr. From there she separated from her first love and had Ja'vaunce, Amiah, Joshae, and Jaosha. Kaira was always laughing, giggling and rocking at something on the Tv or what she heard on the phone. She was always smiling no matter what circumstances life was thrown at her. She enjoyed a good crunchy taco, a night filled with family games and of course her cold Pepsi. Kaira worked many years as a caregiver and was always willing to help someone else out or take them in. There wasn't a holiday gathering that she wasn't present at from all sides of the family or introducing family to one another. Kaira enjoyed watching sports especially her Patriots, you couldn't tell her nothing about her Tom brady! Kaira loved spending time in the kitchen cooking for her family and having a good shot of tequila alongside her best friend Mary Jane. It was the simplest things she enjoyed besides her kids. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them, As well as her role as nana. Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide network community. She will be sorely missed and survived by her Mother Clemmie Daniels, Her brothers Walter B.Smith and Charles Smith, her five Kids Vorshaunn Avitt Jr, Ja'vaunce Daniels, Amiah Griffin,Joshae Joseph, and Jaosha Joseph. Her three grandkids, Riley Jewel Weldon, Raylan Royal Asim Weldon, and Heaven Charlie-Priscilla Avritt. A host of cousins, nieces and nephews and family and friends. Kaira will be proceeded in resting by her father Eugene Daniels, her grandparents Dorothy B. Johnson, Chester L. Johnson, Her aunties Joanne Strong, Dorothy Nell Johnson, Gwendolyn Johnson, her uncles Cedric, Chester Jr, Billy D. Johnson, and Henry Jones as well as her cousins Davina S. Johnson and Ebonea "Eboo" Johnson.
