Kaleb Hughes Burton was born April 19, 2000 in Batesville, Arkansas and passed away April 26, 2024 in Cabot. He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and water sports with family and friends. He had a special bond with his Paw-Paw Ray Burton, who called him “Cottontop” from an early age. He was “K-dub” to his close friends who loved him like a brother. Kaleb graduated from Highland High School in 2018 and then trained and worked as a lineman in the electrical industry.
Survivors include his parents, Melanie Hester Stucker (Brian) and Kevin Burton; sisters: Maddy Burton, Megan Seat (Kamran), Haley French (Jake), and Ashley Chang (David); brothers, Kyle Ray Burton (Abby) and Ethan Stucker; nieces and nephews: McKinley, Wrenlee, Merritt, Layton, and Elsie; grandparents: Judy Hester, Oleta Burton, Earnest Hester, Sharon and Dennis Stucker; his girlfriend, Mattie Frye; many other relatives and good friends. Kaleb was preceded in death by his Paw-Paw.
Visitation of family and friends will begin at noon Saturday, May 4, 2024, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas with the funeral service starting at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Baker Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Zach Brown, Samuel Stowers, Preston Gurley, Kyle Burton, Chantz Thatch, Tristen Trivitt, Ben Paul, and Dakota Taylor.
Honorary Pallbearers include Shane Smith, Skyler Burton, Ethan Stucker, Bryce Ingram, Kahner Seat, Brayden Matty, Jake French, John Thomas Daggett, Joshua Gibson, and Matthew Gibson.
