Kaley Giessing Obituary

Kaley Ann Llewelyn Giessing

1992-2024

South Jordan, Utah - Kaley Ann Llewelyn Giessing 1992-2024 passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024, after two different bouts with cancer. Kaley was cancer free for over a year and then this awful disease came back. She fought this awful disease with courage and positivity, researching, studying and doing everything she could to heal. She was in charge of how she would and would not let this disease be her defining moment, she stayed true to herself up to the very last breath. In the early morning hours, in the arms of her best Friend and Eternal companion, with angels in the room and with a peacefulness about her she slipped into the eternities. But with sadness in our hearts, we must say until we meet again sweet Kaley.

Kaley was the first child to Kevin and Julie Llewelyn, born on April 3, 1992 in Murray, Utah. From the minute we found out that we were going to have a little girl, our hearts were so full knowing how blessed we would be. From the second Kaley came into this mortal world she was full of fun and excitement, a thirst for knowledge and the desire to be the best that she could be. Kaley excelled in so many areas of her life, school, she was an amazing student always doing her very best, learning to read at an early age. Teaching her dad how to read Peppa the Pig in her pink pajamas before he went to work. Kaley was full of care and concern for those around her, a gift that she learned from her sweet mother. She was very possessive of those that were in her circle from her brothers, Ryan and Willie to her friends in school from elementary, clear up to her passing. Kaley loved with a deep honest love that people felt when they were around her. Her deepest love was for her amazing husband, David, her ROCK - you could see the love Kaley had for David in the way she looked at him. Kaley had said that she could not have survived any part of these past 3 years without her wonderful husband, the love, care, strength and support that David provided was simply amazing. Kaley was and is a wonderful Mother to her two sons, Crew and Grey that she loved with her whole heart, both little boys have so much of their mother in them. We will always have Kaley with us because of the wonderful things that she instilled in Crew and Grey. Your MOMMA loves you both so much.

One of Kaley's greatest traits was to do her very best to make those around her happy, this was something that she would work tirelessly at doing, from her personal life and family life to her work. Kaley would make sure that every T was crossed and every I was dotted. She was a perfectionist in all that she set her bright mind to. She loved and appreciated all those that she was so blessed to meet through her professional life and her personal life. Through the journey of the past 3 years, she was guided by the spirit to encounter others that would say something or do something that would put her on a course that would help in the direction that she would take in receiving the care and help that she needed at that time. She met so many people that she loved and appreciated and felt a bond with. Kaley spent countless hours learning and researching the journey that her and her wonderful little family were put on. If there was a challenge or problem, Kaley would face it head on and find ways to resolve it and make it work.

With the short time that she had here, she had experiences and challenges that many of us will never have. The peaceful smile on her face expressed her love and gratitude for those that showed their love for her the past few years. From caring for her needs or the needs of David, Crew and Grey, helping the family in many ways by driving her to appointments to doing her toenails, doing dishes, providing meals, cleaning the house and caring for the boys. We were all blessed by being in our sweet Kaley's presence. Know that Kaley loves you all so much and is truly grateful for your love that you have extended to her and her family.

Kaley's love for her Heavenly Father and her Savior Jesus Christ has grown so much and the understanding of the plan that God has for her was clear in her mind. Knowing that she is truly a daughter of our Heavenly Father, and for some reason she was given these challenges to help make her stronger in this life to prepare for the life to come. She was great here and will be greater in the hereafter.

Kaley loved to hike with her husband David and enjoyed walks with her two sons Crew and Grey. She cherished family time when they would all set out on an adventure from going to Zions National Park, Park City, building forts in the front room, reading stories or just playing and being silly, making each other laugh and smile. These were the times that Kaley loved more than anything, family time with David, Crew and Grey. Davids easy going personality and thirst for life, and Kaley's desire to be the best she could be was a match made in heaven. David eased her mind, putting her in a place of comfort and love, knowing that all was fine thanks to his unconditional love and ever waving care and support for Kaley always came first in Davids's world.

Kaley, being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, her and David were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 25, 2014, being sealed for time and all eternity. Kaley is proceeded in death by Grandad Wade, Grandma Wade, Grandpa Llewelyn, Grandma Llewelyn and grandparents from Davids side, aunts and uncles and other loved ones. Kaley is survived by her husband David, her two sons Crew and Grey, her parents Kevin and Julie, her two Brothers, Ryan (Mikelle), Willie, her Mother-in-law Chris in which she adored so much, Father-in-law Ken Giessing, Brother in-laws Mike (Rachel), Matt (Ashley), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and loved ones.

Kaley was an amazing Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Aunt and Friend during her short time here. The love she shared, the examples she set and the lessons and time she spent will never be forgotten. We as a family and as friends have all been blessed to have had Kaley in our lives. May we all strive to be more loving, more caring and more thoughtful of each other, these are the things that our sweet Kaley would want. Thank you for being our sunshine and the light that brightened each day. We love you Kaley, our most wonderful daughter, your brother's big sister, your husband's sweet wife and your sons amazing, strong Momma.

We as a family would like to share our love and appreciation with all of those that cared for Kaley during this most challenging time. May you know your love and your care will never be forgotten. Your kindness carried Kaley and her family. Positive and hopeful were Kaley's thoughts. Remain positive, all will be ok…this is what Kaley felt, all will be ok.
