Kali Rose Lane, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend left this world at the young age of 25 on Feb. 19, 2025, at home in Winston-Salem, NC.
Born March 27, 1999, in Jacksonville, FL, Kali brought warmth and joy to those around her. Her passion for music was evident even as a baby. She had a deep love for singing, often filling the air with melodies that reflected her beautiful spirit. Her love for animals was clear through every one she would bring home and love unconditionally. An avid reader, she found comfort and adventure within the pages of books. She found freedom in expressing herself through drawing. Above all, Kali really cherished time spent with family and friends, treasuring the connections that meant so much to her.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Jolene Crider; her sisters, Sarah and Kaycie Lane; her brother, Douglas Lane; her stepfather, Eric Crider; her stepsiblings, Jade Jacob, Jackson, and Kennedy Crider; her step grandparents, Brenda and Wayne Crider; and her brother-in-law, Josh Brady.
Kali’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she be remembered for the joy she brought into our lives and the world. May we remember all the love she shared with those around her.
A celebration of Kali's life will be held from 1-3pm, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Robert F. Miller Center at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home.
