Kamal Asante' Green affectionately known as "Kam" was kind-hearted, caring, generous and a loving spirit to all who knew him. Kamal's beautiful life that we loved so much came to departure on Sunday, July 30, 2023, when he silently left with God's Angel.
Kamal was born on August 6, 1996, to his parents, Anthony and Katrina Green in Albany, GA. His family relocated to Johns Creek, GA, where he graduated from Northview High School. From a very young age, Kamal enjoyed playing multiple sports (especially football and wrestling), singing, dancing, helping and bringing joy to others. He sang in the church and school choir and became the first African American president for the Northview High School Choir. After high school, he joined the United States Navy where he served the last nine years as a medical tech and physical therapy tech at several U.S. duty stations and in Djibouti, Africa. While serving he received multiple recognitions and awards. He also obtained multiple professional certifications, worked as a personal trainer and was actively pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology.
Kamal's earthly presence will never be forgotten. He touched the hearts and Iives of all paths that he crossed. His smile and laugh were contagious, his spirit was infectious, he loved hard and unconditionally. He was family oriented and made sacrifices without hesitation to bless the lives of others that he didn't even know.
Preceding Kamal in death is his maternal grandfather, Robert Jordan and paternal grandfather, Archie Perry Green, Jr.
Kamal leaves to cherish his fondest memories his parents, Anthony and Katrina Green of Johns Creek, GA; brothers, Anterrious Green of Port Orchard, WA and Ajani Green of Johns Creek, GA; sisters, April (Wayne) Davis of Warner Robins, GA and Brittany Callaway of Atlanta, GA; maternal grandparents, Pastor Rudy Brown and Irene Brown of Macon, GA; paternal grandparents, Charles and Doris Mitchell of Thomasville, GA; nephews, Jaylan Jackson of Atlanta, GA and Boston Davis of Warner Robins, GA; nieces, Jordyn Johnson of Warner Robins, GA and Jada Smith of Atlanta, GA; beloved extended family; a special friend, Jasmine Naranija and a host of dear friends.
A service celebrating his life will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023, 10 AM, at House of Hope Atlanta - 4650 Flat Shoals Pkwy | Decatur, GA 30034. Public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery - 950 Mansell Road | Roswell, GA 30076.

Katrina, I hope that you see this and know that although I did not know Kamal personally, you are in my prayers. May The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make HIS face shine upon you AND be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you AND give you and your family peace. Yolande
