Kamirah James Obituary
Kamirah was converted at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Claiborne at Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was an active member of the sanctuary choir and dedicated dancer on the praise dance team.
Kamirah received her high school education from both Mullins High School and Dillon High School graduating in June 2021. She further pursued her education at Patrick and Henry Community College in Martinsville, Virginia, where she was in the process of proudly earning her bachelor's degree in Business and Accounting. She was also an extraordinary employee at Elliott Realty.
Kamirah's grandparents (Valli Wheeler, Deborah James, Ernestine Legette, James Allen Wheeler Sr. and Robert and Kay McClellan), her godmother (Dretta Myers) and her cousin Ja'Keria Murphy all preceeded her in death.
Kamirah leaves to cherish her fond memories with her lovely mother of the home Katina Wheeler, her father Paul Anthony James Jr. (Tennessee), her precious daughter Jasmine Amara Kaliyah Reed, her goddaughters Kenza Knight, Nora Washington, her six brothers: Tavares Scott, Lyndon Scott Jr., Earnell Jr. Legette III, Ezekiel Eaddy from Mullins, SC, Zaylynn Anthony James from Texas and Kameron Marie Graham from Summerville, SC, her aunts Linda Jones and Angelina James from Mullins, SC, Lavonna Jared Ford from Florence, SC, her uncles Christopher Wheeler from Mullins, SC and Joshua (Kadijah) James of Florence, SC, her grandfather Paul Anthony James Sr. of Mullins, SC, eight god-sisters, two god-brothers, one niece, five nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
