Kanubhai Govindbhai Patel

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kanubhai Govindbhai Patel, who departed this life peacefully on January 19, 2026, at the age of 77 surrounded by his family in Ocala, Florida. Kanubhai was born on May 25, 1949 in Borsad, Gujarat. He was younger brother to one sister and oldest brother to two sisters and 2 brothers who always looked up to him for major life decisions.

Kanubhai was a dedicated husband to Arunaben, his loving wife of 57 years, and a devoted father to Shilpa, Piyush, Harsha, and Hetal. He was a proud grandfather to grandchildren, Abhi, Yash, Pooja, Amy, Janu, Rishi, Neil, Shruti, Riya & Jeet. He was a hardworking man who built his career as a businessman starting a garment store in his town. His welcoming nature and commitment to work was evident with the success he achieved in a short time. He truly will be remembered for his passion towards work and empathy to others. He shared his spiritual beliefs and personal values with all that came across in his journey of life.

Kanubhai 's stories, advice and contributions will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. A celebration of life will be held on January 24, 2026 beginning at 9:00 am at Robert's of Ocala; 606 SW 2nd Avenue Ocala, Florida
