Debra P. Richardson

Debbi Richardson, 63, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026. She was born on July 10, 1962.

Debbi was a woman whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She loved the simple joys of life: horses, rainbows, kitties, crafts, and the beauty of the world around her. She had a deep love for animals and an even deeper love for people, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer comfort to someone in need.

Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and welcome. Anyone who walked through her door was met with open arms and made to feel like family. Debbi had a remarkable way of appreciating the little things in life and reminding those around her to do the same.

She expressed her love through cooking and baking, pouring her heart into every meal she prepared. Family gatherings were especially important to her, and she made sure every celebration was thoughtful, meaningful, and filled with love. Debbi was also a creative spirit who loved making dolls and expressing herself through her creativity, bringing joy and imagination to those around her.

Debbi will be remembered for her generous heart, her gentle spirit, and the way she made people feel seen, cared for, and at home.

She is survived by her father, Roy Slim; her husband, Davie Richardson; her children: Marisa Richardson, Davie Richardson, and Gary Richardson; her daughter-in-law, Tara; and her beloved grandchildren, Phoebe, Layla, Jaxson, Autumn, Aurora, Kelvin, Tristah, and Sienna. She is also lovingly remembered by her bonus children, Stephanie, Tanya, Angelica, and Tyrone; her sister, Caroline; her niece, Anexie; and her nieces and nephews, Sakeena, Derek, Mann, Little Jackie, Kelvin, Keltavia, and Keleik, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched.

Debbi's love for life, her compassion for others, and the warmth she shared so freely will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Roberts of Ocala Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Avenue with the family receiving friends for a visitation from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, just prior to her service.
