Robert Russell Pratt

Robert Russell Pratt, born on June 13, 1932 in Wiltham. Massachusetts to Russell and Elsie (Fairfax) Pratt, peacefully passed away on February 2, 2026.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years as a folding machine operator on the USS Ticonderoga, demonstrating diligence and strong work ethic that characterized his life beyond military service.

On June 29, 1957, Robert married the love of his life, Patricia Joyce (Patterson) Pratt. Their marriage was one of steadfast commitment, love, and shared faith. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia, who stood faithfully by his side for nearly seven decades.

Robert was a devoted father and is survived by his two children, June Duncan and Russell Pratt. He was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren, including his late grandson, Russell Pratt, and his surviving granddaughters Jennifer, Melissa, and Michelle. In addition, he was a cherished great-grandfather to nine great-grandchildren: Alex, Calvin, Sara, Colton, Gracie, Weston, Tyler, Ryan, and Kierstyn. His family was a constant source of joy and pride throughout his life.

Above all else, Robert loved the Lord, and his faith was evident in every aspect of his life. He memorized much of the Bible and studied the life and teachings of Jesus at every opportunity. His walk with Christ guided his actions, his relationships, and his purpose, leaving a lasting spiritual impression on all who knew him.

One of Robert's proudest accomplishments was designing a Chris-Craft boat, a testament to his ingenuity, attention to detail, and appreciation for fine craftsmanship.

Robert Russell Pratt will be remembered as a faithful servant of God, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a man whose life reflected unwavering faith, humility, and love. His legacy will continue to live on through his family and the example he set for generations to come.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 6th at 10:30 am at Roberts of Ocala Funeral Home; 606 SW 2nd Avenue, Ocala, Florida. The family will receive neighbors and friends one hour prior to services.

Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
